The travel by John W.
25/06/2019

Central theme of woodbridgian philosophy, travel is more than a lifestyle, an essential movement towards fulfillment. From a rational point of view, travel may be a way to escape reality, to another part better, more beautiful, more just, more true. The grass is always greener elsewhere, or the grass is elsewhere when it no longer grows under our feet. In a sensitive perspective, it is also a natural need, an impetus, a vital drive, a thirst for exploration, conquest and discovery. Discovery of the other, and of oneself. A thirst for knowledge, a path to wisdom.

John W. apprehends travel as a quest for beauty and authenticity. John W. will always be a traveler, never a tourist. Because when the tourist sees what he has come to see, the traveler sees what he sees.
