John Woodbridge imagined the missing element to the ideal old school gym. With the punching bag, medicine balls, boxing gloves and speed bag: the gym mat. In leather of course, and patinated at the way of early twentieth century like all objects of the "vintage sports" range.

Manufactured in limited series, the leather gym carpet inspired by an early model from the early 1900s is available in 2 sizes. The largest is 172 cm long and 108 cm wide and consists of 4 pieces sewn with cotton thread, size 2 is 170 x 84 cm with 2 hand-stitched inserts. Both are filled with a 2.5/3 cm thick synthetic polyester mattress and have 4 handles to carry or hang. It can be used as an extra bed, bench or headboard. It's the largest piece in the John Woodbrige Sport Collection and for transportation reasons it is not yet available for sale on the site.
